With the Junior Eurovision 2024 season in full swing, countries are continuing the search to find their representative, with Poland continuing its selection, Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior 2024 this weekend. Ahead of the show on Sunday, the participating artists of Semi-Final 2 have been revealed.
Another seven artists competing in the second semi-final
As reported by Dziennik Eurowizyjny, the seven artists competing in this week’s competition, are as follows:
- Alexandra Antoniak
- Amelia Stawiarska
- Dominic Arim
- Iga Kaczynska
- Kalina Kalicka
- Konrad Adamczyk
- Sebastian Rąpel
This week, the competing artists will be signing ‘Eurovision Hits’. Meanwhile, Luna (Poland’s Eurovision 2024 representative) & Sara James (Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2021 representative) will be the judges for this week’s competition.
Poland’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Żurawik with the song “Coś mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.
Their recent participation in 2023, saw them being represented by Maja Krzyżewska, with the song “I Just Need a Friend” which placed 6th overall, receiving 124 points from the jury and online vote combined.
