Just a matter of days after embarking on her Aikonic Tour, Czechia’s Aiko has released her latest single ‘Regal’.
About ‘Regal’
Her first single since the release of her album ‘Aikonic’ – Aiko wrote Regal alongside Andy Gannon (Courteeners, Robbie Williams), who also produced the track.
The song was played for the first time as she recently opened her European tour in Hamburg.
The accompanying music video was directed by Aleš Valtr.

Aiko’s Eurovision Journey
Aiko was announced as Czechia’s Eurovision 2024 representative in December. This was following on from wining national final “ESCZ” with the song “Pedestal”. “Pedestal” was later revamped, and rereleased in March. Over the pre-party season, Aiko performed at five pre-parties: Pre-Party ES the Barcelona Eurovision Party, the London Eurovision Party, Eurovision in Concert and the Nordic Eurovision Party.
It was later determined that Czechia would perform in the first half of the second semi-final, and the producers placed “Pedestal” fifth in the running order. “Pedestal” scored 38 points in the second semifinal, placing eleventh and just missing out on the Grand Final.
During Eurovision, Aiko met Kat Almagro, the drummer of San Marino’s Megara. who she is now in a relationship with. Kat is playing the drums on the Aikonic tour, the pair have written and submitted a song for Spain’s Benidorm Fest in 2025.
