Just in time for Halloween, Ireland’s ouija-pop witch Bambie Thug has released their latest single ‘Fangtasy’ – their second solo single since returning Ireland to the Eurovision final and finishing sixth in Malmö.
About “Fangtasy”
‘Fangtasy’ Has lyrics and themes fit for a song released the last Friday before Halloween, saying they “won’t dance to the beat of no vampire” as they break free from the control of others and speak up for themselves.
Bambie reunited with Tylr Rydr, who worked with them on Doomsday Blue, as well as songs such as Egregore and Tsunami (11:11), to work on the music for the song.
The official music video for the song was animated by Marco Pavone, with creative direction by Bambie’s siter Holly. The animation stars The Darklings, who are currently accompanying Bambie on their Crown The Witch tour as the support act.
Bambie returned to where their Eurovision journey began, the Late Late show, to premiere the song, and was joined on the episode by Eurovision favourites Jedward.
