İlkin Dövlətov, who represented Azerbaijan at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest alongside Fahree, has released another new single “Anama Deyin”.

Unlike a lot of more recent new works by İlkin such as ‘Yaşa Ürəyim‘ which are covers of classical Azeri music, this new single is a self penned release.
Continuing with the more mellow tone we’ve been seeing from İlkin, this track is much slower than his Eurovision entrant, with a slow build accompanied with a strong guitar and drum base. This is one of İlkin’s most rock-like songs to date; with a lot less focus on the mugham vocals of his other work.

İlkin’s Eurovision Journey
Ilkin Dovlatov has also only been in the Azerbaijani music industry a short time. In 2023, Ilkin took part in The Voice Azerbaijan. Ilkin finished the competition as the runner-up. As well as The Voice, Ilkin has also taken part in the Azəri Star competition. Alongside his Eurovision song, Ilkin has released two further tracks “Ters” and “Geceler”.
Azerbaijan internally selected Fahree and Ilkin Dolatov to represent them in 2024 with the song “Özünlə apar”; they scored eleven points in the first semifinal, placing fourteenth and missing out on the Grand Final for a second year in a row.
