With 2025’s national final season in full swing, SMRTV have announced that their national final live auditions will be broadcast next week.
Salotto – Una Voce Per San Marino
While SMRTV have retired the “Una Voce Per San Marino” branding for their official final, their live auditions round retains the name. “Salotto – Una Voce Per San Marino” will be broadcast daily starting from January 20th, 2025 at 16:00 CET.
The final of the San Marino Song Contest will be on March 8th, 2025. French singer Justine Mayer has already won a pass for the semifinal round, while other rumored auditionees include BESA and TESLENKO.
San Marino’s Eurovision Journey
As one of the smallest countries in Europe, San Marino made its debut in the competition in 2008 with Miodio and the song โCompliceโ. Since then they have participated in the competition 14 times, qualifying for the grand final in three. Their best result was in 2019, with Serhat and โSay Na Na Naโ.
Spanish band Megara represented San Marino in 2024 with the song “11:11”. They failed to qualify from the second semifinal, placing fourteenth and receiving sixteen points from the televote.
