VÆB, whose win was confirmed following the release of the full results in Songvakeppnin

The organisers of London Eurovision Party continue to reveal the names of the acts that will perform in this year’s event. The next confirmed act is VÆB, who will represent Iceland at Eurovision 2025 with their entry “RÓA”.

About the Pre-Party: London Eurovision Party (LEP) is the originator of the Pre-Party concept, and will be returning for its 16th edition. The show will take place at Here@Outernet in central London on April 13th, 2025.

Acts: Shkodra Elektronike (Albania 2025), Nina Žižić (Montenegro 2025), Vladana (Montenegro 2022), Vasil (North Macedonia 2020/21), Erika Vikman (Finland 2025), Laura Thorn (Luxembourg 2025), JJ (Austria 2025), Klemen (Slovenia 2025), Kaleen (Austria 2024), Kyle Alessandro (Norway 2025), Sissal (Denmark 2025), Miriana Conte (Malta 2025), Red Sebastian (Belgium 2025), ADONXS (Czechia 2025), Electro Velvet (UK 2015), Katarsis (Lithuania 2025), Emmy (Ireland 2025), Go-Jo (Australia 2025), Melody (Spain 2025), Abor & Tynna (Germany 2025), Remember Monday (United Kingdom 2025), KAJ (Sweden 2025), Marko Bošnjak (Croatia 2025), alyona alyona and Jerry Heil (Ukraine 2024), Princ (Serbia 2025), Bambie Thug (Ireland 2024) and VÆB (Iceland 2025) are the acts confirmed so far.

Iceland’s Eurovision History

Iceland made its debut on the Eurovision stage in 1986, finishing 16th with the song “Gleðibankinn” (Bank of Fun) by ICY. In their 35 appearances, Iceland has finished in top 10 an impressive 7 times. Their best result to date is second place, which they have achieved twice. The first time was in 1999, where Selma Björnsdóttir received 146 points for her performance of “All Out of Luck”. The second time was in 2009, with Yohanna singing “Is It True” and receiving 218 points.

2010 returnee Hera Björk represented Iceland with “Scared of Heights” at the 2024 contest. She placed last in the first semi-final, scoring only three points.
