The post-Eurovision skyrocketing success of Portugal’s Eurovision 2025 entry, Deslocado by Madeiran band NAPA, has continued as the song is nominated in the “Best Song” category in the 29th Globos de Ouro.

Deslocado, and some other familiar faces!

NAPA’s Eurovision entry is amongst five competitors in the Best Song category in the Portuguese Globos de Ouro Awards , which recognise the best and brightest across the fields of cinema, theatre, music, fashion, comedy and entertainment. The other songs nominated are:

“Diga 33” by A Garota Não

“E Depois do Adeus” by Gisela João

“Essa Mulher” – Nuno Ribeiro

NAPA weren’t the only Eurovision representatives nominated for an award, however. 2022 representative MARO is up for the best performance for her show at Teatro Tivoli as part of last year’s Trio Tour. You can see some of the action of that night below, courtesy of both MARO herself and our own Rory, who was lucky enough to be in attendance.

Meanwhile, Festival da Canção host Vasco Palmeirim is up for Best Personality in the entertainment category.

The awards will be held on 28th September at Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon.
