Italy’s Leonardo Giovannangeli has officially released his Junior Eurovision 2025 entry, titled “Rockstar”. The song and its official music video are now available on RaiPlay and the Junior Eurovision YouTube channel.

The performance’s creative team includes:

- Camera direction: Cristian Biondani
- Choreography: Erika Rombaldoni
- Lighting design: Blearred
- Visual graphics: Roof Video Design
An accessible version of the music video, produced by Rai Pubblica Utilità, features LIS performers and subtitles to make the entry available to all audiences.
Italy’s Junior Eurovision journey
Italy made its Junior Eurovision debut in 2014 with Vincenzo Cantiello and the song “Tu primo grande amore”. The performance scored 159 points on its way to a victory. Since winning, Italy’s best result is a 3rd place in the 2016 contest. Italy has so far participated eight times.
Italy most recently participated in 2024. Simone Grande and his song “Pigiama Party” reached ninth place after receiving 52 points from the jury and 46 from the online vote.
