About “I’m Not Crying, I’m Dancing”
The song is about self-love and resilience, as it is both uplifting and sad. There is a message that, instead of crying, the listener should dance. The song mixes Danish verses along with an English chorus. The song is about healing and moving forward from hard times. Sissal has described the song as a “sad banger”.
