๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฉ Satoshi to rework his Eurovision performance

Moldovan representative, Satoshi, will be revamping his Eurovision staging ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna!

What’s changing

After his initial performance at the national selection, the artist and his creative team are now planning significant changes to the way the song will be presented on the Eurovision stage. Satoshiโ€™s performance concept will undergo a full overhaul, with new visuals and choreography developed by a fresh creative team to reshape the staging. Satoshi, after winning, told:

โ€œThis is the first time Iโ€™ve participated in a music contest. Iโ€™m self-taught, but I love music madly and, more than that, I love my birth place, culture, people and I really think that we have something to offer the world and Europe. I think we have some wonderful people, full of heart, talent, and unimaginable inner wealth. I want to thank everyone for their support and trust โ€“ both those in the jury and those in the audience who voted for us.โ€

Moldova’s Eurovision Journey

Moldova is relatively new to the Eurovision Song Contest, joining in 2005. Their debut entry, Zdob ศ™i Zdub, finished in 6th place, which had remained their highest scoring entry up until 2017. They were dethroned by returners Sunstroke Project and the song โ€˜Hey Mammaโ€™, which finished in 3rd place. At the close of voting, Moldova received 374 points.

After representing Moldova in 2007, Natalia Barbu returned to Eurovision in 2024 with the song “In the Middle”. She received 20 points in the first semifinal, ultimately placing thirteenth and missing out on the grand final.
