๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด Jonas Lovv to represent Norway at Eurovision 2026

Following their win in Melodi Grand Prix 2026, Jonas Lovv will represent Norway in Eurovision 2026 with their song “Ya ya ya”.

Jonas Lovv won with 265 points, getting 96 from the jury and 169 from the televote, and overall winning Melodi Grand Prix. The voting system consisted of 8 international juries who counted for 40% of the vote, while the televote counted for 60%. Here is how the other artists have done and where they placed:

Norway’s Eurovision Journey

The Scandinavian nation made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960, with Nora Brockstedt and the song โ€œVoi Voiโ€, which placed 4th. Since their debut, they have participated 62 times, and made the Grand Final 59 of these. In addition, Norway has won the competition three times – in 1985, 1995, and 2009.

Norwayโ€™s latest Eurovision participation saw them being represented by Kyle Alessandro with the song โ€œLighterโ€. After qualifying for the final, Norway placed 18th in the Grand Final, receiving 89 points, 22 of which from the jury and 67 from televoters.
