They are packing their suitcases for EuROOP tour which starts on March 8th in Dublin and marked to finale in May in Istanbul. Vaidotas, Robertas and Mantas declared a new Momentum in their story and will be sharing it with the enjoyers in 15 cities across 6 countries. Get ready, THE ROOP fans, because buying concert tickets can often feel like discoteque!

In the interview the band unveils some ohmygodable tour details which the fans were looking forward to know and hints something that hasn’t been announced yet. Vaidotas also shared heartwarming stories of their fans on how the music connected them. The band also shared they still follow Eurovision from time to time and enjoy the music diversity.
Get to know THE ROOP
Vaidotas Valiukevičius, Robertas Baranauskas and Mantas Banišauskas came together in 2014 and formed The Roop. Their debut album, To Whom It May Concern, was released a year later. They made their debut in Lithuania’s national selection for Eurovision in 2018 with “Yes I do”, placing third overall. Two years later, they returned with On Fire, and won the ticket to Rotterdam before the contest’s cancellation.
The Roop returned to Pabandom iš Naujo in 2021 with Discoteque, where they achieved a landslide victory, going on to represent Lithuania at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest and achieving 8th place in the grand final. They have since released singles Ohmygodable” and “Love Is All We Got” and their brand new EP “Momentum”.
Lithuania’s Eurovision Journey
The Baltic nation made its debut at the Eurovision Song contest in 1994, where Ovidijus Vyšniauskas represented them with the song “Lopšinė mylimai”, which placed 25th. Since then, Lithuania has participated 22 times and made the Grand Final 15 times. LT United gave Lithuania their best ever Eurovision result back in 2006, where the country placed 6th.
In 2025, Katarsis represented Lithuania, participating with the song “Tavo akys”. Performing in the second semi-final, Katarsis qualified for the final in sixth place. In the Grand Final, Lithuania finished in 16th place overall, with 96 points – 34 points came from the juries, with another 62 points from the televote.
Katarsis have just passed the flag to the newly crowned winner, Lion Ceccah who is set to compete in Semi Final 2 with “”Sólo quiero más”.
