EBU has confirmed the very first official Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour, a concert series across 10 major European cities this summer to mark the 70th anniversary of the world’s biggest live music event.

What the live tour is about

Created especially for the anniversary year, the tour will bring the magic of Eurovision directly to fans across Europe. It will feature:

  • Iconic performers from Eurovision’s 70-year history, celebrating the contest’s legendary past.
  • Artists competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Grand Final in Vienna, performing their entries live.
  • Special surprise guests at each stop.
  • Performances of both artists’ own songs and covers of classic Eurovision hits.

Martin Green, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, said:

“As we celebrate 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, we wanted to do something truly unique and special – and the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour is exactly that. This historic first tour captures the evolution of the Contest – from broadcast icon to an immersive live experience – with a format that celebrates our fantastic past whilst looking to the future. For the very first time we are bringing the magic of the Eurovision Song Contest live experience directly to fans and their friends and families all over Europe. This is our chance to celebrate the music, the artists, and the community that have made the Eurovision Song Contest what it is for seven remarkable decades.”

James O’Brien, CEO of Progress Productions, added:

“Creating this concert series is an extraordinary honour. The Eurovision Song Contest has produced some of the most unforgettable performances in music history, and we can’t wait to bring that energy to arenas across Europe in 2026. This tour will be a celebration of everything that makes the Eurovision Song Contest iconic.”

All About Eurovision 2026

The journey to the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest kicked off immediately following JJ’s win in Basel, when Austria’s ORF accepted the rights to host the 70th edition of the contest. The bidding process started in June, with interested cities having until July 4 to submit their bid book. Innsbruck and Vienna were shortlisted, with the latter winning the right to host next year’s contest. 35 countries will take part in the competition, the lowest number of competing entries since 2004.

As for the organisation of the competition, the ‘core team‘ was revealed in June 2025, with further details about next year’s competition to be revealed in due course. The shows will take place on May 12th, 14th and 16th.
