At the Meet & Greet party of LAVINA, Tetiana grabbed a moment to interview them, who will represent Serbia at Eurovision 2026 with the song “Kraj Mene”.

Check out our interview with LAVINA here!

In the new interview, they talk about their first rehearsal, their feelings and what they learned from Eurovision.

Who are Lavina?

Lavina is a six-piece band formed of Luka Aranđelović, Pavle Aranđelović, Pavle Samardžić, Andrija Cvetanović, Nikola Petrović and Bojan Ilić. The group first formed in 2020 in their native Niš. The band released their first album in 2022 and released a string of songs from 2024 onwards, all in English. Their music has led to various festival appearances and some domestic success in Serbia itself.

Following Princ’s non-qualification in 2025, Serbian broadcaster RTS returned once again with Pesma za Evroviziju 2026. Twenty-eight different acts competed to represent the country, with six-piece group Lavina emerging as the underdogs to win the show. At the close of voting, Lavina won the public vote, racking up nearly 30,000 televotes, essentially guaranteeing their right to go to Vienna. The band will close the first semi-final, performing in position #15.

Serbia’s Eurovision Journey

In 2007, Serbia made its debut as an independent country, having previously participated as part of Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. There, they were represented by Marija Šerifović with “Molitva”, which managed to win the competition. Since their debut, Serbia has participated 16 times (13 of which, where they qualified for the Grand Final).

Princ represented Serbia at Eurovision 2025 in Basel with his song “Mila”. At this year’s competition, Serbia failed to qualify for the Grand Final, finishing in fourteenth place with 28 points in the semi-final.
