2026 national final artists
🇸🇪 A*Teens – “You Got The Look”
🇸🇪 Klara Almström – “Brogatan”
Melodifestivalen debutant Klara Almström came 5th in the 2nd heat of Mello this year with her song “Där hela världen väntar”. The Swedish pop singer has returned with new single “Brogatan” and it is every bit as etherial and vocally beautiful as her Mello entry. It’s a calm, yet wonderful country-pop song. The young singer is sure to be someone to keep an eye on in upcoming years!
🇮🇹 Levante – “MALÌA”
Levante has become a bit of a recent staple of Italy’s Festival di Sanremo, having competed in the 2020, 2023 and 2026 editions of the song festival. Her most recent release “MALÌA” is a vibe-y piece of Italian pop, a bit of a shift away from the ballads she has performed at recent Sanremo editions. Nevertheless, the song is a bop!
🇱🇺 Luzac – “Pourquoi?”
2-time Luxembourg Song Contest hopeful Luzac has released his new track “Pourquoi?”. Posting on his instagram story, Luzac stated that the new track was one of the songs that got him selected for the Luxembourg Song Contest 2025. The singer once again performs the track in French, with a thumping, danceable beat. When asked if he would return to try and compete for Luxembourg at Eurovision, Luzac said he doesn’t know yet, but if he does come back, it “will have to be fun. No more overthinking…just enjoying the moment”. Could Luzac have done better for Luxembourg at the Contest than “Mother Nature” managed? I guess we will have to wait to find out!
2025 national final artists
🇸🇪 Dolly Style – “En magisk melodi”
Everyone’s favourite pastel cowgirls Dolly Style release their latest single, “En magisk melodi”. The song is classic Dolly Style in that it blends country with pop in a way that everyone finds infectious, but “En magisk melodi” is less of a sing-along arena anthem than anything the group have released before. It’s slower, it’s softer and it features less “yihaa”s than everything else they’ve ever done. Saying that, it’s a decent slice of pop from the 4-time Melodifestivalen competitors.
🇵🇱 Dominik Dudek – “Midnight Echoes”
Dominik Dudek teams up with Francis On My Mind and Albert RCB on new release “Midnight Echoes”. The polish singer placed 3rd with “Hold The Light” in the Wielki finał polskich kwalifikacji national final and had previously come 3rd in the 2023 edition of the Polish selection show. This new track gives a decent dance-pop beat that could find its way on to many playlists this summer. Could it be 3rd time lucky for Dominik in the future for Poland?
🇫🇮 Viivi – “Herkkisten liiga”
Finland’s Viivi placed 3rd behind Goldielocks and Erika Vikman in UMK 2025 with her track “Aina”, but the singer has released a plethora of new songs since her attempt to go to Eurovision. “Herkkisten liiga” is the most recent of these releases, and sees her give a great vocal performance over a banging pop beat.
