With just over three months to go until the inaugural edition of Eurovision Asia takes place in Bangkok, it has been revealed that further information about this year’s contest will be revealed in the first week of August.
National Final news or Participating Countries?
The confirmation of the news reveal was shown on the contests’ official social media accounts, with the caption saying:

As we have previously reported, the participating countries are set to select their representatives through a National Final. At the time of writing, Bhutan and Philippines have confirmed their selections are set to take place August, with Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal and South Korea set to have their selections in September. With the date of selections for the already confirmed countries to be revealed in due course.
In terms of participating countries, Assaf Blecher, the Executive Producer of the inaugural edition of the competition, has mentioned that the aim is to have 12-14 countries in Bangkok, with Kazakhstan exploring a possible participation.
What we know about Eurovision Asia 2026
Early this year, EBU and Voxovation have confirmed the launch of Eurovision Asia, following its initial attempt to launch the format in 2017. The inaugual edition of the competition is set to take place on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
