🇬🇧 LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER releases new single “Marvellous”

Look Mum No Computer

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER has released his first single since performing on the Eurovision 2026 stage for the United Kingdom. “Marvellous” is the first track from the singer, real name Sam Bartle, since “Eins, Zwei, Drei” appeared in the Grand Final of the Contest in Austria.

About “Marvellous”

Still fresh from his performance on the 2026 Eurovision stage, LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER has a new single. “Marvellous” sees LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER, real name Sam Bartle, deliver his iconic synth-pop-rock sound. The track was written, recorded and produced by Sam himself. Sam famously uses analog synthesisers which he creates and repurposes himself, hence the moniker LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER.

The lyrics of the track try to see the good in the world. The track opens with a description of why Sam has made this song. Sam describes how life “has its up and downs, so I thought I’d make a song about the good things I’ve found”. He then goes on to detail lots of things in everyday life that are “Marvellous”, including the fact planes can fly, technology and a morning cup of coffee.

The chorus vocals of “Marvellous” is on the rockier side for LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER, compared to his Eurovision entry. But the analog synths he is known for are ever present. The song itself leans more into the indie/rock synth electronica, and is unashamedly British. The track artwork features Sam in his warehouse in Ramsgate, wearing his iconic pink jumpsuit. He can be seen riding his infamous mini-tractor / road legal ride-on lawnmower. The song is released on Sam’s own LOOK MUM NO LABEL.

Aside from his musical career, Sam operates and displays many of his creations at the This Museum Is Not Obsolete, in Kent. The museum is open weekends, and fans can often find LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER there when he isn’t busy creating weird and wonderful things, or spending time with his newborn son.

The UK also holds the record for second-place finishes – currently at 16 and most recently with “Spaceman” by Sam Ryder in 2022. The UK hosted the contest on behalf of Ukraine in 2023, after Sam Ryder’s second-place result.

In 2026, LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER represented the UK in Vienna with his song “Eins Zwei Drei”. The song was written by Sam himself, as well as Lasse Midtsian Nymann, Julie ‘Kill J’ Aagaard and Thomas Stengaard.
