After much speculation and an announcement by Vietnamese broadcaster VTV, the organizers of the contest have officially confirmed that Tóc Tiên will represent Vietnam at the inaugural edition of Eurovision Asia, which will take place in Bangkok on November 14th.
Vietnam’s representative officially confirmed
Tóc Tiên was selected internally to represent her country Vietnam at Eurovision Asia 2026, with official confirmation coming on September 16th.
The song that Tóc Tiên will perform will be chosen through the national final ‘The Sound of Vietnam’, which is set to take place on October 3rd. As in previous selections for Eurovision Asia, viewers from around the world will be able to vote for their favourite song. Additional details about ‘The Sound of Vietnam’, including the number of songs, will be revealed in due course.

What we know about Eurovision Asia 2026
Early this year, EBU and Voxovation confirmed the launch of Eurovision Asia, following its initial attempt to launch the format in 2017. The inaugual edition of the competition is set to take place on November 14th in Bangkok, Thailand.
