About “Halloween Movie”

“Milkshake Man” performer and Aussie ESC participant Go-Jo is back with a spooky Halloween single. The musician has teamed up with iconic Australian indie-pop trio Sheppard on new song “Halloween Movie”. The trio of Sheppard siblings have previously attempted to represent Australia in Eurovision back in 2019.

The track is a fun, tongue-in-cheek Halloween anthem, in classic Go-Jo comedic, indie-pop style. Whilst the subject matter is fun and camp, the lyrics and melody of the chorus make an incredibly catchy indie-pop track. Why should Christmas get all the fun songs anyway?

The new Halloween themed track was written by Go-Jo, as well as Amy and George Sheppard, with co-writing from Jay Bovino. The track is released on the Chugg Music / Mix Records labels. Go-Jo is due to be supporting the band Midnight Til Morning for the European leg of their upcoming tour, with dates across Europe in October and

Go-Jo grew up on a remote, self-sustaining farm estate outside of Manjimup, Western Australia. His mother was a rock musician and lead singer of a local rock act. Aged 14, Go-Jo received his first guitar and began experimenting with music, covering metal and rock songs in his early teens. Despite this, Martyโ€™s initial focus was on Australian football, becoming a semi-professional player for the East Perth Royals. Aged 19, he began songwriting and producer his own music. Go-Jo’s debut album, “The Go-Jo Variety Show” was released in June of 2026.
