Still fresh from his appearance on the Eurovision stage earlier this year with “Ferto”, Greek musician Akylas is back with new music! The singer has this week released his new single “To Party”.

Greece’s most recent Eurovision Song Contest finalist Akylas, is back with a new single! The “Ferto” singer has this week released new song “To Party”. The track is an upbeat, party anthem in the Greek language. The backing track is, in classic Akylas style, fast-paced and maximalist, with synth beats and a catchy hook. The song details the feeling of chaotic love, in a party setting, as the room burns around you.
Like his Eurovision entry, the song has elements of video game sounds, a chaotic, synth-pop music track and fun lyrics. The chorus of the song contain the lyrics (when translated into English):
At the wild party that’s begun
Who is dancing, and who hasn’t touched
The burning shadows? I am lost
I love you, but I cannot feel you
A dive into the party that’s begun
A glance at a mirror that’s cracked
Who is dancing, and who hasn’t touched
The smoke that’s shipwrecked within?
The new single from Akylas was written and composed by Nikos Michas, with production from TEO.x3 and N1kT0. The single is released on the EMI SA label, distributed by Universal Music Group. Akylas has recently embarked on his post-Eurovision ‘Press Start’ tour, with the last of the shows in the coming days.

Who is Akylas?
Born Akýlas Mytilinéos in Greece in 1999, Akylas took an interest in music at a very young age. Studying at The Serres Music School, he became interested in musical performance and musical theatre, before working as a singer on cruise ships in early adulthood. It was during the Covid-19 lockdowns that Akylas first began gaining online attention, recording ukulele covers and uploading them to TikTok. In 2021, he participated in the eighth season of The Voice of Greece, where he joined Panos Mouzourakis’s team.
Akylas’ Eurovision journey
Greek broadcaster ERT once again used the national final ‘Sing for Greece’ to select their artists for the 2026 Song Contest in Vienna. 14 songs competed for the ticket to Eurovision in the televised final round of the national selection, with Akylas taking the win. “Ferto” was awarded the maximum points from both public and jury votes in the selection.
After winning the Greek national final in 2026, Akylas and “Ferto” was selected as the entrant for the Contest in Vienna. Following his performance in the first of the Semi-Finals, Greece qualified for the Saturday Grand Final. At the close of voting in Vienna, Akylas would finish in 10th place. He earned a total of 220 points, of which 53 were from the national juries and 147 were from the televoters.
