Following a busy 2026 already for the Swedish band Smash Into Pieces, with a Melodifestivalen entry “Hollow” and a string of live shows, the group are back with a new single. Smash Into Pieces follow up on August’s release of “Miracle” with new single, “The Best”.
About “The Best”
Frequent Melodifestivalen participants Smash Into Pieces have released their latest single, “The Best”. The track is in classic Smash pop-rock style, with growling vocals and big, metal drum and guitar lines. The song is exciting, accessible rock with a metal edge, in a polished way Smash Into Pieces have become known for.
The chorus of the track is incredibly catchy, with vocalist Chris Adam Hedman Sörbye demanding listeners to give him the best. The song culminates in an impressive metal growl from Chris, with drum breakdown from APOC. The new single follows recently released track “Miracle”, and adds to the already impressive back catalog of Smash Into Pieces records.
The new single was written by the band themselves, as well as Linea Deb and Andreas Lindbergh. The single is released on the band’s independent Smash Into Pieces label. “The Best” is released alongside an instrumental version of the song. The group have a string of shows lined up in coming months, with dates in Sweden, Finland and Czechia announced so far. For ticket information and tour dates, check out the Smash Into Pieces website.
