🎻 Eurovision Young Musicians 2027 to take place in Latvia

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has confirmed the date and location for Eurovision Young Musicians 2027. The competition will take place on Saturday 10th July in Liepāja, Latvia.

Eurovision Young Musicians heads to Latvia

The Great Amber Concert Hall will host the 23rd edition, with Latvian Public Service Media (LSM) taking on hosting duties. For the first time the competition will take place in consecutive years. The 2026 edition took place in Yerevan, Armenia.

The EBU confirmed Latvia as the host country following the conclusion of the 2026 competition in June.

The contest will form part of Liepāja’s programme as one of the European Capitals of Culture for 2027. The Great Amber Concert Hall, known locally as Lielais dzintars, will host young classical musicians from across Europe as they compete for the title.

The competition has traditionally taken place every two years. However, continued interest from EBU members has led to the 2027 edition taking place just one year later. It has not yet been confirmed whether the competition will permanently move to an annual format.

Further details regarding the participating countries and competing musicians are expected to be announced ahead of the event.
