🇭🇷 Baby Lasagna releases new album “End The Party”

Croatia’s representative for Eurovision 2024, Baby Lasagna, has released his new album. The Eurovision runner up’s new record, “End The Party”, follows the release of various singles earlier in the year.

About “End The Party”

Baby Lasagna, who placed second for Croatia in Eurovision 2024, has released the much anticipated second album, “End The Party”. The record blends metal, pop-punk and alt-pop into a signature Baby Lasagna sound. The album contains recent singles “Face On Your Phone“, “Sedated” and the title track “End The Party”, a reimagined version of 2024’s “and I”, as well as 6 new tracks.

Personal highlights of the record include new tracks “My Show” and “All The Wrong Directions”, both of which blend heavy drums and guitar lines, with pop-punk and metal vocals. The songs are simultaneously new, fresh and exciting, while also being reminiscent of early 00s pop-metal and post punk. “Face On Your Phone”, released earlier in the year, is another brilliant track from the new era of Baby Lasagne, with an insanely catchy hook and an electro-metal / post punk edge.

Despite initially fronting Baby Lasagna as a solo project, Marko now performs with members of a touring band under the Baby Lasagna name. Describing the process of making the album as a complete band, Baby Lasagna said:

feel especially proud of this one! it’s insane! it wasn’t all romantic. we didn’t have an cathartic experience. we didn’t “discover ourselves” or “had a clear vision”. we doubted and second guessed. we were confused, stressed and frustrated, but we had buttload of fun!

The second studio album from Baby Lasagna was written and recorded by Marko himself, alongside drummer Matija Klaj, bassist Martin Purišić, and DJ Roko Josipović. The music was produced and mixed by Roko Josipović and Marko, with mastering and additional mixing by Filip Motovunski. Baby Lasagna will be touring much of Europe in late 2026 and early 2027. Marko’s solo career as Baby Lasagna kicked off in 2023 with his first single “IG Boy”. He soon followed this with “Don’t hate yourself but don’t love yourself too much”. In 2024 Baby Lasagna was selected as a wildcard for Dora 2024 with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”. The singer was permitted into the competition at the last minute, following a withdrawal.

Baby Lasagna’s Eurovision history

Baby Lasagna represented Croatia at the Song Contest in 2024 with his song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”. The Croatian singer won the country’s national final “Dora”, after originally being a last minute alternate choice for the selection.

“Rim Tim Tagi Dim” was drawn to be in the first semifinal in the Contest in Malmö. Croatia qualified for the Grand Final, winning the semifinal in the process. In the Grand Final in 2024, Baby Lasagna finished in 2nd place, with a total of 547 points. 210 of these points came from juries, whilst the other 337 came from the televote. This was the highest televoting score in the Grand Final of the 2024 contest.

Following his second place finish in 2024, Baby Lasagna returned to the Eurovision stage as an interval act during the Grand Final in Basel, in 2025. Here, he joined Käärijä for a performance which mashed up their Eurovision songs “Cha Cha Cha” and “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”. They also performed their joint single “#eurodab” for the first time during the interval act.
