Since winning the right to represent Albania at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, Ronela Hajati has been hard at work for her performance in Turin. Recently teased her fans as she shares a snippet of the revamped version of her Eurovision entry “Sekret”.

Ronela has traveled to London to work on the revamped version of the song. After winning Festivali i Këngës Ronela was invited on the Albanian show ‘E diela shqiptare’ where she mentioned she wanted to work with ‘Diztortion’. However, Ronela is yet to confirm if this was the case for the revamp.

At the time of writing, it is yet to be revealed, when the revamped version of Albania’s 2022 Eurovision entry will be released. However, in the meantime, you are able to relive Ronela’s performance in Festivali i Këngës.
Albania’s Eurovision Journey
Albania made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 with Anheza Shahini with “Image of You” which managed to place 7th in the final. Since their debut, Albania has participated 17 times and qualified the final 10 times; their best result came in 2012 when Rona Nishliu placed 5th with “Suus”.
In 2021, Anxhela Peristeri represented Albania with “Karma”, which gave the country its third straight grand final qualification and finished in 21st place with 57 points. Coincidentally, it was also their third song in a row to be sung in Albanian.
