🇦🇱 Ronela Hajati’s revamp of her Eurovision 2022 entry “Sekret” is released

It is Friday, and it is time for some new music. However, we are getting something new in the form of a revamp, as Albania’s Eurovision 2022 representative has dropped the revamped of her entry “Sekret”. which she will perform on the first half of the first semi-final on the 10th of May.

Ronela on the Pre-Party circuit

Ronela has already been confirmed for three Eurovision pre-parties ahead of her participation at Eurovision in May. They are for:

• Barcelona Eurovision Party (Barcelona)- March 26
• Eurovision in Concert (Amsterdam)- April 9
• Pre-Party ES (Madrid) – April 15/16

Albania’s Eurovision Journey

Albania made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 with Anheza Shahini with “Image of You” which managed to place 7th in the final. Since their debut, Albania has participated 17 times and qualified the final 10 times; their best result came in 2012 when Rona Nishliu placed 5th with “Suus”.

In 2021, Anxhela Peristeri represented Albania with “Karma”, which gave the country its third straight grand final qualification and finished in 21st place with 57 points. Coincidentally, it was also their third song in a row to be sung in Albanian.
