Barcelona, do you feel the rhythm? Lithuania’s 2020 and 2021 representatives The Roop will be performing at Barcelona Eurovision Party. The Roop won Pabandom iš naujo! 2020 with “On Fire” and 2021 with “Discotheque”.

About the Pre-Party: Barcelona Eurovision Party is the newest Pre-Party that is launched this season. Upon its launch, the party mentions that up to 20 participants of the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest will attend the Pre-Party. The Pre-Party will be hosted by Sharonne, Giuseppe Di Bella.
Acts: At the time of writing, a number of Eurovision 2022 participants have been revealed. They are Ronela Hajati (Albania), We Are Domi (Czech Republic), Brooke (Ireland), Citi Zēni (Latvia), Monika Liu (Lithuania), Emma Muscat (Malta), Vladana (Montenegro), WRS (Romania), and Chanel (Spain). They will be joined by Marta Roure (Andorra, 2004), Conchita Wurst (Austria, 2014), The Roop (Lithuania 2020, 2021) Sunstroke Project (Moldova 2010, 2017), Senhit (San Marino, 2011, 2020, 2021), and Rosa López (Spain, 2002).
Venue: The Pre-Party will take place at Sala Apolo in Barcelona.

Lithuania’s Eurovision journey
The Baltic nation made its debut at the Eurovision Song contest in 1994, when Ovidijus Vyšniauskas placed 25th with the song “Lopšinė mylimai.” Since then, Lithuania has participated 21 times and made the Grand Final 14 times. LT United gave Lithuania its best ever Eurovision result back in 2006, placing sixth.
Lithuania’s latest Eurovision participation, saw the nation represented by The Roop, who had been due to represent Lithuania at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. For 2021, the group participated with “Discoteque,” managing to place eighth overall with 220 points.
