London is not going to dance alone, as the organizers of the London Eurovision Party confirm that Lithuania’s Eurovision 2020/21 representatives The Roop will be one of the performers on April 3. This will be the band’s third Eurovision Pre-Party right after Barcelona Eurovision Party and Pre-Party ES.

About the Pre-Party: One of the longest Eurovision Pre-Parties, the London Eurovision Party, will once again take place. Paddy O’Connell; the voice of BBC Radio 4, alongside SuRie (United Kingdom, 2018) will host the 2022 edition. SuRie will also treat the audience to a performance.
Acts: At the time of writing these acts have been confirmed for the Pre-Party: Brooke (Ireland, 2022), Intelligent Music Project (Bulgaria, 2022), VICTORIA (Bulgaria, 2020, 2021), WE ARE DOMI (Czech Republic 2022), Krystian Ochman (Poland, 2022), Aidan (MESC runner up 2022), Vladana Vučinić (Montenegro 2022), Monika Liu (Lithuania 2022) Mia Dimšić (Croatia 2022), Citi Zēni (Latvia 2022), James Newman (UK 2020, 2021), Malik Harris (Germany 2022), Jérémie Makiese (Belgium 2022), WRS (Romania 2022), Emma Muscat (Malta 2022), Sam Ryder (UK 2022), KEiiNO (Norway 2019), Chanel (Spain 2022), STEFAN (Estonia 2022), LUM!X feat. Venue: The new venue for the London Eurovision Party, will be the Hard Rock Hotel in Marble Arch, which is steps away from Hyde Park

Lithuania’s Eurovision journey
The Baltic nation made its debut at the Eurovision Song contest in 1994, when Ovidijus Vyšniauskas placed 25th with the song “Lopšinė mylimai.” Since then, Lithuania has participated 21 times and made the Grand Final 14 times. LT United gave Lithuania its best ever Eurovision result back in 2006, placing sixth.
Lithuania’s latest Eurovision participation, saw the nation represented by The Roop, who had been due to represent Lithuania at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. For 2021, the group participated with “Discoteque,” managing to place eighth overall with 220 points.
