Barcelona, start stocking up on bananas! Subwoolfer, who will represent Norway at Eurovision 2022 with their song “Give That Wolf A Banana,” will be performing at Barcelona Eurovision Party.

About the Pre-Party: Barcelona Eurovision Party is the newest Pre-Party that is launched this season. Upon its launch, the party mentions that up to 20 participants of the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest will attend the Pre-Party. The Pre-Party will be hosted by Sharonne, Giuseppe Di Bella.
Acts: At the time of writing, a number of Eurovision 2022 participants have been revealed. They are Ronela Hajati (Albania), We Are Domi (Czech Republic), Brooke (Ireland), Citi Zēni (Latvia), Monika Liu (Lithuania), Emma Muscat (Malta), Vladana (Montenegro), Subwoolfer (Norway), WRS (Romania), and Chanel (Spain). They will be joined by Marta Roure (Andorra, 2004), Conchita Wurst (Austria, 2014), The Roop (Lithuania 2020, 2021) Sunstroke Project (Moldova 2010, 2017), Senhit (San Marino, 2011, 2020, 2021), and Rosa López (Spain, 2002).
Venue: The Pre-Party will take place at Sala Apolo in Barcelona.

Norway’s Eurovision Journey
Norway made its Eurovision Song Contest debut in 1960 with Nora Brockstedt’s “Voi Voi”, which placed 4th. Since then, Norway has participated 59 times and won 3 times. Bobbysocks won in 1985 with “La det swinge” and Secret Garden won with “Nocturne” a decade later in 1995. More recently, Alexander Rybak won the 2009 contest with “Fairytale” with a record-breaking score.
In the past decade, Norway made the qualified to the Grand Final every year except 2011 and 2016. They notched five top-ten finishes, including 4th in 2013 with Margaret Berger’s “I Feed You My Love”. In 2019, Keiino placed sixth and won the televote with “Spirit in the Sky”. In the most recent contest in 2021, Tix qualified for the Grand Final with “Fallen Angel”, which ultimately placed 16th.
