🇵🇱 Szansa na Sukces – Eurowizija Junior 2022 Semi-Final 1 participants revealed

Junior Eurovision 2023 is right around the corner! The next country to start their Junior Eurovision search is Poland! They have revealed the acts that will be taking part in the first semi final of Szansa Na Sukces 2022. This year’s Junior Eurovision song contest will take place in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Szansa na Sukces first semi-final – what you need to know!

Polish Eurovision outlet Dziennik Eurowizyjny reports girls will compete in the first Szansa na Sukces semi-final. These girls will perform contemporary pop tracks in order to win a ticket to the final of Szansa na Suckes. The first semi-final will be aired on September 4th, at 15:15 local time in Poland. The show will be aired over on TVP. The acts taking part in Sundays show are as follows:

As we have previously reported, the jurors for this week’s show will be Cleo (Poland’s Eurovision 2014 representative), alongside Sara James (Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2021 representative)

Poland’s Junior Eurovision journey

In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Żurawik with the song “Coś mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.

Their recent participation in 2021, saw them being represented by Sara James, with the song “Somebody” which placed 2nd overall, receiving 218 points from the jury and online vote combined.
