Sam Ryder is starting 2023 strong. Following his success during and after Eurovision, the singer has now been nominated for a BRIT Award. The BRITs are probably the most prestigious music awards in the United Kingdom.
About Sam Ryder’s BRIT nomination
Sam Ryder is nominated for the “Best New Artist” award at this year’s BRITs. He is nominated alongside some big names such as Rina Sawayama and Mimi Webb. The BRITs will take place on Saturday February 11th. They will air on ITV1, and will be available to be streamed on ITVX. Sam Ryder also took time to comment on his BRIT nomination.
Sam Ryder’s Eurovision journey
In 2022, the UK was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest by Sam Ryder with his song “SPACE MAN”. The performance managed to impress juries and televoters, and the UK finished in second place with 466 points, their best placing since 1998.
