🇬🇧 Sam Ryder makes animated debut in CBeebies show

Fresh from the reveal that he is one of the nominees in the “Best New Artist” in this year’s BRIT Awards, Sam Ryder, who represented the UK at Eurovision 2022 makes his animated debut on a CBeebies Show.

Sam Ryder as “Brian, The Universe”

Sam will be making his animated debut in the CBeebies show “Messy Goes to OKIDO”, on the episode “The Big Bang”, where Sam’s voices the character ‘Brian’ a speck that starts the Big Bang and forms the entire universe.

If you would like to watch Sam’s episode, it will air today (January 18) on CBeebies at 09:15, alternatively, UK viewers are now able to watch the episode on BBC iPlayer.

Continued success for Sam after his Eurovision participation

It has been a busy and successful year for Sam since he represented the United Kingdom at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Since Turin, Sam’s entry “SPACE MAN” peaked at Number 2 in the UK Charts, announced a UK & Ireland tour, which will commence in March, performed the National anthem at Silverstone, performed at the National Television Awards, as well as headlining the New Year’s Eve Show on BBC One. To top this all off, Sam’s debut album “There’s Nothing But Space, Man!” debuted at Number One in the UK Albums Chart.

Sam Ryder’s Eurovision journey

In 2022, the UK was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest by Sam Ryder with his song “SPACE MAN”. The performance managed to impress juries and televoters, and the UK finished in second place with 466 points, their best placing since 1998.
