Polish broadcaster, TVP have announced that the submission deadline for Krajowe Eliminacje, the Polish national final, has been extended to February 10th citing the reason for extension was due to a a great interest in the national final.
Applications to enter the national final opened on September 20th, 2022 and were due to close on January 15th, 2023.

TVP has stated that ten finalists will be announced by February 15th with the national final to be scheduled for February 26th.
The winner of the national final will be determined by the Jury and the Public on a 50/50 basis. However, in the event of a tie, the Jury will have the deciding vote.

Poland’s Eurovision Journey
In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest, when Edyta GΓ³rniak represented them with the song βTo nie ja!β, and placed 2nd (which is Polandβs best result at the contest to date). Since then, Poland has participated 24 times (15 of which was in the Grand Final). Polandβs recent Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by Ochman, who competed with βRiverβ. Qualifying for the final, at the close of voting, he managed to place 12th with 151 points from the Jury and Televoters.
