After being internally selected to represent Switzerland at Eurovision 2023. SRF has finally unveiled Remo Forrer’s entry for this year’s contest, titled “Watergun”. To coincide with the release of the song, the official music video was released, which you are able to watch right here:
About “Watergun”
Remo’s Eurovision 2023 entry was written by Argyle Singh, Ashley Hicklin & Tribbs, and was produced by Tribbs, Pele Loriano & Tom Oehler.
Remo Forrer was internally selected by SRF in February 2023, which saw the involvement of a panel of 100 regular TV viewers, as well as a jury of 20 music professionals will also be involved in the final decision. Following the semi-final allocation draw, Cyprus will compete in the second half of the first semi-final on the 9th May,

Switzerland’s Eurovision Journey
Switzerland both hosted and debuted in the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. Their first participation was successful, as they won with Lys Assia’s “Refrain”. Since then, they have participated on 62 occasions, making the Grand Final 51 times.
Switzerland’s most recent participation saw them being represented by Marius Bear with his song “Boys Do Cry”, which saw them qualify for the Grand Final for a third consecutive participation. Overall, Switzerland finished 17th, after receiving 78 points from the jury and 0 points from the televoters.
