San Marino’s Eurovision Journey

As one of the smallest countries in Europe, San Marino made its debut in the competition in 2008 with Miodio and the song โ€œCompliceโ€. Since then they have participated in the competition 12 times (3 of which where they qualified for the Grand Final), and their best result was in 2019, with Serhat and โ€œSay Na Na Naโ€.

Their recent participation saw them being represented by Italian superstar Achille Lauro, with the song โ€œStripperโ€. On May 12th, Achille performed in the second semi-final, but unfortunately didn’t qualify for the Grand Final. Overall, San Marino placed 14th in the semi-final, receiving 50 points from the jury and televoters.
