Eurovision in Liverpool is now less than a month away. In the lead-up to the start of rehearsals, we will get to know a bit more about this year’s artists, their discography, and their Eurovision journey so far. Next up, we will preview Cyprus’s 2023 representative, Andrew Lambrou.
Andrew’s Eurovision Journey So Far…
Andrew was one of the earliest artists announced for Eurovision 2023. Cypriot broadcaster CyBC first announced that they had internally selected him to represent them on 17th October 2022. His song “Break a Broken Heart” was then released on 2nd March 2023.
Andrew will perform in 6th position in the second semi-final on Thursday 11th May. You can check out Andrew’s song here:
Andrew did not perform at any of the Eurovision pre-parties held in Europe. However, he did make a surprise appearance to perform his entry at the Sydney Eurovision Preview Party.

Cyprus’s Eurovision Journey

In 2022, CyBC internally selected Andromache to represent them in Turin with the song โElaโ. During their participation in Turin, Andromache failed to qualify for the Grand Final, and managed to place 12th in the Semi-Final, receiving 63 points from the Jury and Televoters.
