Fresh from his participation at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool, the 2023 Belgian entry, Gustaph, has just been announced for the line-up of Birmingham Pride 2023!
Gustaph to bring ballroom to Birmingham
After a successful Eurovision year for Belgium, finishing 7th in the Grand Final in Liverpool with his song ‘Because Of You’, Gustaph will be trading the M&S Bank Arena stage for the main stage at Birmingham Pride on Sunday 28th May! Announcing Gustaph, the official Birmingham Pride Twitter tweeted:
After such a powerful performance championing LGBTQ+ rights and LGBTQ+ performers, queer fans in the UK will be delighted by this news! This follows an earlier announcement that the UK entry, Mae Muller, will be performing at Birmingham Pride on Saturday 27th May, just a day before Gustaph takes to the stage! Other performers announced for the festival include Sugababes, Liberty X, Black Peppa, Atomic Kitten, Gabrielle & B*witched!

Gustaph’s Eurovision Journey
In 2023, Gustaph represented Belgium with the song “Because of You”. Gustaph qualified from the second semi-final, eventually finishing in 7th place with a total of 182 points. The juries awarded Belgium 127 points, whilst the televote gave 55 points to the performance.
