Nearly a month on since his participation at Eurovision 2023, the participating artists are now releasing new singles since their participation in the competition. One of those is Reiley who has released his new single “Lovesongs”
An ode to the person that ruined all his favourite songs
In the lead up to the release of the song, Reiley released a preview of the song, whilse sitting on a car and asks “Anybody els have an ex that ruined all your favourtie songs?, I wrote a song about it”, and proceeds to sing along to it.
Reiley co-wrote the song alongside Bård Bonsaksen, Sivert Hjeltnes Hagtvet Hilda Stenmalm, with the first two also producing the song.

Who is Reiley?
Reiley is a Danish singer-songwriter who originally hails from the Faroe Islands. In fact, he is the first Faroese artist represent Denmark at Eurovision!
Reiley first gained traction in 2020 by posting covers of hit songs on TikTok, where he has since amassed 11 million followers and over 1 billion views. He released his debut single “Let It Ring” in 2021, followed by first EP brb, having an identity crisis, which included the single “Superman”. In 2022, he released the songs “blah blah blah” and “Moonlight”. Reiley has also gained a sizeable following in South Korea.
“Breaking My Heart” was written by Reiley, Bård Mathias Bonsaksen, Hilda Stenmalm, and Sivert Hjeltnes Hagtvet.
