🇵🇱 TVP to air Junior Eurovision 2023 on three separate channels

It is just over a month before the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 takes place. Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) has announced its broadcast plans for the event.

Three channels for TVP for Junior Eurovision 2023

TVP announced ways viewers in Poland could watch the contest this year. TVP will air the contest on the main channel TVP1, TVP Polonia and TVP ABC. The final will air from 4 pm Polish time.

Poland will be represented by Maja Krzyżewska this year in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023, with the song “I Just Need a Friend”. Maja was selected to represent Poland after winning the national final “Szansa na suckes”.

Poland’s Junior Eurovision journey

In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Żurawik with the song “Coś mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.

Their recent participation in 2022, saw them being represented by Laura, with the song “To The Moon” which placed 10th overall, receiving 96 points from the jury and online vote combined.
