About Džordži
Džordži is the stage name of Đorđe Ćulafić, a 28 year old model and singer from Belgrade. He started releasing music in 2020, with his debut single “Ne pijem.” He’s since released songs alongside the likes of Etida, and was nominated for two MAC awards in Serbia in 2023. His song for Pesma za Evroviziju, “Luna Park”, is competing in the second semi-final.
Serbia’s Eurovision Journey
In 2007, Serbia made its debut as an independent country, having previously participated as part of Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. There, they were represented by Marija Šerifović with “Molitva”, which won the competition in Serbia’s first year competing.
Since their debut, Serbia has participated 15 times–12 of which they qualified for the Grand Final. Luke Black represented Serbia at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool with his song “Samo mi se spava”. At this year’s competition, Serbia qualified for the Grand Final, where they placed 24th. At the close of voting, Luke Black had received 30 points – 14 coming from the jury and 16 from the televote.
