As we now have the songs competing for this year’s competition in Malmö, the team at That Eurovision Site will be reacting to the entries that will be participating at Eurovision 2024. The next entry we will be reacting to is Croatia, who will be competing in this year’s competition with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” by Baby Lasagna.
Our thoughts on “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”
In this series, we will be providing our opinions in two methods. One of our team members will be reacting on video, which you can see below, whilst up to three members will be giving their written opinion on the entry. Tim will be on the main seat and will be giving his reaction to “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”
What did the other members of the team think of “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”?
Jazzi : I am not afraid to admit this is my winner of this year’s contest. This is just such a fun entry and something very different that we are not used to seeing from Croatia. The little dance in the bridge is so fun and will really get the crowd going in Malmö and at watch parties in May. I just love his story from not even being in the selection to now being one of the favourites to win the contest.
Shiloh: Oddly enough, this song has grown on me. I’m not usually a fan of Eurovision’s less-than-serious entries, but damn that riff is catchy. It’s a well-written song, ultimately, nonsense lyrics aside. I don’t think it has the oomph to win Eurovision, especially not in a year with so many other similar entries, but I can see it remaining a cult favorite down the line.
