With rehearsals for Eurovision 2024 less than a week away, Croatia has paid tribute to its Eurovision entrant Baby Lasagna. Dancers in five cities across the country performed a flashmob of “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” in support of the act.
“Rim Tim Tagi Dim” fever takes hold
In the Croatian cities of Zagreb, Zadar, Osijek, Umag and Split, impromptu flashmobs were set up to support Baby Lasagna. Hundreds of dancers congregated in public squares across the cities to perform the iconic dance for the song, uniting the nation in its backing for their Eurovision song.
Reporting for Croatian public broadcaster HRT, journalist Antonia Ćosić gave a sense of the atmosphere from Zagreb’s King Tomislav Square:

It’s a wonderful day here, eight different troupes were here and magnified this day, this dance with which we want to express our support for Baby Lasagna. What everyone hopes is that even though he is currently second in the bookies, he will manage to be first.

Currently, Croatia sits in second place at the betting odds, only behind Switzerland. At the time of writing, Baby Lasagna’s average odds are at 11/4 (equal to 3.75). However, odds continue to shift and will change drastically when rehearsals begin.
Baby Lasagna’s Eurovision journey so far
Baby Lasagna was selected to represent Croatia with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” after winning national final “Dora 2024”. Late last month it was determined that Baby Lasagna will perform seventh in the first Eurovision Semi-Final in Malmö on May 7th.
Baby Lasagna performed at a number of pre-parties to sing “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”. He performed at the London Eurovision Party on April 6th, as well as Eurovision in Concert on April 13th. As well as this, Baby Lasagna also took part in Pre-Party ES24 in Madrid on March 30th.
