๐ŸŽค Further information about Junior Eurovision 2024 revealed

After confirming that 17 countries will be participating in the 22nd edition of Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid. Further information about this year’s competition has been revealed.

“Let’s Bloom” – the slogan of Junior Eurovision 2024

One of the first things that was revealed is the official slogan of this year’s competition “Let’s Bloom”, which references the blossoming of young artists as they take the Junior Eurovision stage and perform.

Speaking about the slogan, Ana Marรญa Bordas, the Original Content Director at RTVE and Executive Producer of this year’s contest comments:

“We have thought of a concept that, taking nature as an example, influences the idea of โ€‹โ€‹young artists flourishing towards a future where they can be themselves and express freely in a healthy, safe and diverse way. The aim is to walk with them in their growth and development. In short, to help them flourish and progress, by being themselves.

The concept of flowers and blooming comes from nature itself, where there is so much diversity and in which everything is important, harmonious and beautiful.โ€

Stage reveal

We also see elements of the slogan transferred over to the stage, where RTVE designed a simple but modern stage, where there is a circular stage and a large vertical LED screen, which is in reminscent of the verticality of the digital world.

Speaking about the stage, Marvin Dietmann, the artistic director of this year’s contest mentions:

โ€œOur vision is rooted in the belief that diversity is the essence of beauty, much like a flourishing garden. In this creative journey, we embrace the idea that each artist, like a unique plant, contributes to the vibrant tapestry of our โ€˜garden of lifeโ€™. Here, everyone has their place and together we grow into diverse shapes, colours and forms.

We invite our audience to trust in our vision and the future of our artists, as we embark on this transformative experience together.โ€
