Tonight Ireland has commenced their search for their Junior Eurovision 2024 representative as a new season of Junior Eurovision Éire has commenced, where we saw the show take us around Ireland for auditions.

The lucky ten that are still in the running

As we have previously reported this year’s edition saw a change in the format where, instead of having numerous weeks of shows where a certain number of participants each week, TG4 did open auditions, where at the end of the first episode ten participants advanced to the next stage of the competition.

The auditions were judged by permanent judges Niamh Ní Chróinín and Tadhg Ó Gríofa, with Ireland’s Eurovision 2022 representative Brooke Scullion. The participants that are still in the running are as follows:

  • Abiha Mansoor
  • Charlotte Mackey
  • Enya Cox Dempsey
  • Harry Greaney
  • Katelyn Harrington
  • Kiefer Byrne
  • Robyn Doyle
  • Lottie O’Driscoll Murray
  • McManus Island
  • Safiya Devlin

The competition will run over the next four weeks, with the finale set to be on 13th October, and will be presented once again by radio host Louise Cantillon.
