Estonian TV programme ETV Ringavaade has revealed some initial details about the entry for Estonia at Junior Eurovision this year. Annabelle Ats will sing “Tänavad”.
About “Tänavad”
Annabelle Ats will sing “Tänavad” (Streets) for Estonia in Madrid, after winning Tähtede lava, Estonia’s Junior Eurovision selection. Sven Lõhmus is a writer of the song. In the interview on Ringvaade, Lõhmus teased that the song is about “youth” and “street life”. As of the time of writing, the song does not have an exact release date. However, it should be released at the beginning of October.
Estonia in Junior Eurovision
Estonia debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2023. Arhanna represented the Baltic nation in Nice. Arhanna represented her country with the song “Hoiame Kokku”. At the close of voting in Nice, Arhanna received 49 points in total. Estonia gained 6 points from the national juries, while getting 43 points from the online voting. At the end of voting Estonia placed 15th at the contest in Nice.
