With a few days to go until Ukraine selects their Junior Eurovision 2024, the songs that are in the running to represent them in Madrid have been revealed by Suspilne.
Six entries in the running
The entries, which were created by music producer Svitlana Tarabarova and songwriter Yevhen Triplov, were released on the official Eurovision Ukraine YouTube channel and are as follows:

Ukraine’s selection of their Junior Eurovision 2024 representative will take place on September 22. You can watch the selection on UA:PBC, Suspilne Kultura’s website, as well as the official Eurovision Ukraine Facebook and YouTube channels. The show will be hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko, Anna Tulyeva, and Anna Trincher (Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision 2015 representative).
Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision journey
In 2006, Ukraine made their debut to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with Nazar Slyusarchuk and the song “Khlopchyk Rock ‘n’ Roll” (Хлопчик рок ‘н’ ролл), which placed 9th. Since their debut, the Eastern European nation has participated 17 times, and even won once in 2012 with Anastasiya Petryk and her song “Nebo” (Небо).
In 2022, Ukraine selected its representative through a national final, where Anastasia Dymyd won the right to represent the nation with “Kvitka”, which managed to place 5th receiving 128 points from the jury and online vote.
