Chloe DelaRosa, who will represent Spain at Junior Eurovision 2024

Spain’s entry for Junior Eurovision 2024, performed by Chloe DelaRosa, will be released on Monday the 7th of October.

In July, Spanish broadcaster RTVE confirmed that Chloe DelaRosa would represent Spain at Junior Eurovision 2024. DelaRosa won an internal selection that featured 290 submissions, more than double the number from 2023. Her entry will premiere on Monday the 7th of October at a press conference at 11am CET. RTVE will present the song and possibly the music video at the press conference.

Spain’s Junior Eurovision History

Spain has taken part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest a total of 9 times, with their first participation coming in the first edition of the Contest in 2003. In the initial Contest, Sergio represented Spain with “Desde el cielo”, and at the close of voting Spain finished in second place, earning 125 points. Spain would go on to win the next edition of the show with María Isabel’s “Antes Muerte Que Sencilla”, finishing with 171 points.

Spain’s most recent participation was in 2023, when Sandra Valera represented the nation with her song “LOVIU” in Nice. At the close of voting, Spain finished 2nd in a field of 16 participants. Spain earned 201 points – 86 of which came from the online vote. The professional juries awarded the remaining 116 points.
