Prior to January 25th’s Luxembourg Song Contest, Molly got to interview Luzac about his journey and what inspired him to participate in the national selection.

Who Is Luzac?
Luzac is a fairly new artist to the scene, having released his first song, Jโy Arrival, in 2021. However, before this, he had composed for other artists, taken violin lessons at a young age, and was a teacher. He releases music mainly in the French language. While working on his performance for the national selection, he is also working on releasing his first album.
Luxembourg’s Eurovision Journey
Luxembourg first made its debut in the first edition of the Contest in 1956, with their first entries being “Ne crois pas” and “Les Amants de minuit”, both performed by Michรจle Arnaud. Since the first Contest, Luxembourg has competed a total of 38 times. Their best result was finishing in 1st place five times – in 1961, 1965, 1972, 1973 and 1983 respectively.
Luxembourg returned to the contest for the first time in 31 years in 2024. Tali, represented Luxembourg in Malmรถ, with the song “Fighter”. At the close of voting in the first semi-final, it was announced Tali had qualified for the Grand Final. In the Grand Final, “Fighter” received 103 points. 83 points were from the national juries, while 20 points were from the televoters.
