About ‘You’re Christmas To Me’
Sam’s 2023 bid for Christmas number one, ‘You’re Christmas To Me’ was created for the film ‘Your Christmas or Mine 2’. The song came in at number 2 in the Christmas chart race that year, with the number 1 spot going to ‘Last Christmas’ by Wham. The song was his first release as an independent artist after parting ways with Parlophone Records.
Sam is no stranger to coming in second, as his Eurovision 2022 song “Space Man” reached the number 2 position in the UK charts in May 2022, after coming in 2nd place at Eurovision.

It’s Sam Ryder, so that Golden Retriever energy is fully on show here, as well as that stunning growly vocal. The song is a toe-tapper and a singalong parcel of joy, perfect for you to sing along to on the radio and snuggle up to your loved one to!
Sam Ryder’s Eurovision journey
In 2022, the UK was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest by Sam Ryder with his song “SPACE MAN”. The performance managed to impress juries and televoters, and the UK finished in second place with 466 points, their best placing since 1998. A year later, Sam returned to Eurovision to perform live at the Grand Final in Liverpool 2023, with his song ‘Mountain’.
