🇦🇱 Shkodra Elektronike to represent Albania at Eurovision 2025

Festivali i Këngës 63 concluded this evening with the fourth and final night of Albania’s premier song contest. At the end of the show, RTSH revealed that Shkodra Elektronike will represent Albania at Eurovision 2025 in Basel.

The winner of this year’s festival, who will represent Albania at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, was selected via a mixture of televote and jury. 7 Jurors will be awarding points in Eurovision style (12,10,8 and 7-1), totaling 406 points. This portion of the vote is 50%, with the other half being decided by the public, which will be a total of 406 points. This will consist of 50% SMS and 50% Diaspora vote.

Albania’s Eurovision History

In 2004, Albania made their debut into the Eurovision Song Contest with Anjeza Shahini with “Image of You”, which placed 7th in the final. Since their debut, Albania has participated 20 times, and made the final 10 times. They achieved their best result in 2012, where Rona Nishliu placed 5th with “Suus”.

Besa represented Albania in 2024 with the song “Titan”. “Titan” performed in the second semi-final, where it ultimately placed fifteenth out of sixteen, receiving 14 points from the televote.
