We at That Eurovision Site will be ranking national finals throughout this coming season. The next national final that the team have taken a closer look at is EurovizijaLT 2025, which will take place on the 15th of February. EurovizjiaLT will select the Eurovision representative for Estonia in Basel.
Who is taking part in EurovizijaLT 2025?
There are 12 artists taking part in the final of EurovizijaLT. The 12 artists taking part are as follows:

Who is our winner of EurovizijaLT 2025?
We ranked the songs taking part in the final, using a 1-12 ranking. 1 being our favourite, 12 being our least favourite song. We then calculated the average of all our rankings.

What did some of our team members have to say about their favourite songs from EurovizijaLT 2025?
Angus (Liepa): Beat, check. Vocals, check. Despite its poppiness still something uniquely Lithuanian about it? Abso-effing-lutely. I know this is me saying the same thing twice, but it can not be said often enough that Liepa sounds great on this song that manages to both be a banger while having a solid identity of its own. An excellent song to vibe to late at night.
Rory (Petunija): Petunija’s track is a perfect blend of folk and modern music, with a striking use of red in the performance, it feels really dark and mysterious – something I’m really loving this year! Should Lithuania send this, having the third song in Lithuanian in four years would be an amazing feat, and hey – why not, it’s a banger.
Kittens (Black Biceps): Black biceps are here to bring the LOUD, brassy sound that just begs party time. This will really appeal to a rowdy crowd with the call and response features of the track, and remains accessible regardless of language, which is an important feature for a potential Eurovision song. Add in the catchy little dance and very well done graphics and staging and you have a package that could easily go to Basel straight away.
What is EurovizijaLT?
Lithuania has used a national final to select its Eurovision representative for all of its entries bar its debut in 1994. The national final itself has undergone frequent name changes and small format changes. From 2020 to 2023, the country used “Pabandom iš naujo!” (translation – We try again!) as its national final. Most recently in 2024, Eurovizija.LT was the name of the national final. There were 40 participants across 5 semi-finals, with two participants advancing to the final from each.
Lithuania’s Eurovision Journey
The Baltic nation made its debut at the Eurovision Song contest in 1994, where Ovidijus Vyšniauskas represented them with the song “Lopšinė mylimai”, which placed 25th. Since then, Lithuania has participated 22 times and made the Grand Final 15 times. LT United gave Lithuania their best ever Eurovision result back in 2006, where the country placed 6th.
In 2024, Silvester Belt represented Lithuania, participating with the song “Luktelk”. Performing in the first semi-final, Silvester qualified for the final in fourth place. In the Grand Final, Lithuania finished in 14th place overall, with 90 points – 32 points came from the juries, with another 58 points from the televote.
